While the Surface Pro 7 comes with Intel’s Wi-Fi hardware, you shouldn’t just install the generic drivers that Intel releases, even if they are a newer version than the ones released by Microsoft for your device. This can only be good news given that this firmware update squashes some bugs and is supposed to add further polishing to the experience with the device, but updating the Wi-Fi drivers might not be as easy as it sounds. Microsoft’s latest Surface Pro model is now available for purchase from the Microsoft Store, and the very first firmware update is also live, meaning that those who receive the device today should have an update waiting for install on day one. ![]()
